*Theo and I made our starring appearances on "Deal or No Deal". We were seated in Block 1 and were the second group to go up to the podium. Sadly, Theo and I both incorrectly guessed what was in our briefcases, but it was still a fun experience nonetheless. And O'Keefe, just remember that we will see you again on that effing stage. And the set of A*Mazing WILL be rebuilt. Yeah!
*Katy and I went to see Kylie Minogue on the 13th of December. Was a lot of fun. And hella spectacular. I love Kylie so much more now. Funny how that happens.
*I ordered John Mayer's accoustic EP today, "The Village Sessions". I know what you're thinking..."What took you so long to do that?". Well, I had to order it online, and I didn't want to bug dad again with the whole credit card thing (after buying buttloads of tickets). I finally felt like today was the day. And coz I'm being cheap, I checked "standard international shipping" so I shouldn't be expecting the CD until mid to late Feb. Great. Oh well, I'm sure to forget about it, so it will make a cool birthday surprise.
*I can never borrow from the Traralgon library again with my card. Meh. That's what little sister's are for, right?
*I recieved a wonderful surprise today...John Mayer DVDs (like of various performances and appearances) from the lovely Julia. Is probably the best thing I've ever received in the mail. Thanks again! *hugs and kisses*
*John Mayer (and the JM3) received 5 Grammy nominations for the 49th Annual Grammy awards. High fives all round. He (and Steve and Pino) deserve them all. "Continuum" is just magnificant, I really hope it wins "Album of the Year". Take em all, bitches! Can't wait till Feb 11. I'm definitely doing some predicitons closer to the date (And yes. They will be biased).
*I'm stoked at the news that Delta Goodrem will be singing at Carols By Candlelight on Christmas Eve. Delta AND Dennis Walter? Life is too good sometimes.
*Little Danielle turned 18. Oh. God.
*Australia won back the Ashes! Suck. On. That. Pommies. Weeeeeeee. Apparently, Warnie is going to retire tomorrow (or today, meh) which is sad, but on a personal note, I'm glad i'll at least see his last hometown test on Boxing Day! We're going on the 27th and I can't wait for it! God, please make Australia bat on the first day, so that when the second day rolls around (and we're in the crowd), we can see Warnie bowl and hopefully, take his 700th wicket!

WAN LOY.
Tonight (Well, technically last night), myself, Adele, Simone and Theo went to dinner at Wan Loy's. It was to catch up and exchange some Christmas gifts and cheer (I got a lovely book and some beautiful perfume - nice haul, right?).
Going to dinner with pals is always fun. Food + friends makes for a great combination. And I love that as we've grown older, we've slowly moved from going to "lunch" with your friends to going to "dinner". We're growing up, alright. And that's why I've insisted on taking more photos of us. We're not going to be this awesome forever, you know.
And here are just a couple...

THE WIGGLES.
I’m sorry, but I don’t like the new direction The Wiggles are going in.
Sure, you’ve got a new member (Sam Moran). I’m sure you want a new start and all that. But this?…
The brightly coloured skivvies and smiles doesn’t make up for the fact that promoting gun use is BAD.

And this one? My 2nd favourite Wiggle (Mad Murray) is actually directing his shot into a fellow member! Horrendous!

I will not tolerate this. The Wiggles will not incite violence into the next generation of Australian children.
Nicholas – No Wiggles for you. Someone has to protect you.

DEAL OR NO DEAL.
How the eff have I not blogged about this already?
This Friday (8th of Dec) Tash and I will be on 'Deal or No Deal'. And for the 347,879th time, no, I don't know what's going to happen. I don't know if we'll get to open briefcases, or if we're just going to sit in the audience etc. We went to an audition a few months ago, obviously wowed them, and now we're on. We'll have to see...they are filming 5 episodes so wish us luck...
Now, before our audition, Tash and I made a friendly pact to split any money either of us win. So did these girls...

This is Roxanne and her sweet offer of $53,000.

This is her neighbour (name unknown). They also had the same pact that Tash and I have.

This is what Roxanne ended up taking home - $50,000. She did not split the money with her neighbour. This resulted in a dispute still being settled in courts and featured, of course, on the tabloid television program "Today Tonight" (Oh Nay-Nay, we'll miss you).
Tash, please do not take notes on this blog.
